PENSACOLA, Fla. - March 19, 2013 - PRLog -- Domestic violence is the leading cause of death in females. It is also the leading cause of injury for women ages 15-44. 31,260 women were murdered by their partner between 1976 through 1996. Shame and fear prevents most women from reporting abuse. There's emotional, mental, physical, verbal, and sexual abuse. Of these physical and sexual cause severe trauma and/or death, which may lead to mental and emotional issues.

The abuser usually isolates his victim from any friends and/or relatives. Therefore, the abused feels all alone and defenseless.

A personal experience of abuse has driven Rebecca D. Myers, author to write Remember, not a word. Her book details her abuse as a little child, a teenager, a married women and survival of that horrible abuse. It is Rebecca's desire to reach the many victims of abuse and help them get strong and free from their abuser. The book, Remember, not a word will be released in June, 2013.

Rebecca Myers is also the author of "My Journey To Heaven And Back", her near death experience and journey through her life whereby she should have died, but did not.
