Excellent performing global SEO and internet marketing firm, LeanMeanMarketing.com, spearheaded by online marketing specialist and CEO of the said firm, Andrew Hiddleston, publishes video news on the just-released Google Panda update 25 (http://www.leanmeanmarketing.com/
In the video, Hiddleston shares, “Believe it or not, we're already at the 25th iteration or update of the Google Panda algorithm change. As reported earlier in search engine land, the 25th update was supposed to happen between Friday and towards the end of weekend (March 15 - 17), so it was going to be implemented over the course of the weekend. That's also one par with some comments that Google's Matt Cutts made earlier in the week. Now of course it's too early to get any immediate feedback but reports are indicating that indeed the change has happened and that it could be fairly substantial.”
Just to give a brief and simple background, Google Panda update deals basically on lowering ratings of “low-quality”
What can a businessman or an online entrepreneur do to protect his/her website?
According to Hiddleston, “Quality content is the key. Lots of high quality content being produced on a regular basis is crucial and that's why it's important that you have a blog. Whether you do daily written posts or video posts, Google absolutely loves fresh and original content.”
He suggests, “The next thing you need to do is to start distancing yourself from automated back linking tools. Your SEO approach needs to be more in an authoritative base and the links that you get need to reflect that.”
He gave a concrete example: LeanMeanMarketing.com.
This site is a fairly new site. Its domain is in fact less than 6 months old. Hiddleston shares, “A few weeks ago we did a review for WP Twin which is a Wordpress cloning software (see http://www.leanmeanmarketing.com/
http://www.youtube.com/
“Our post or that review is ranking on the first page of Google for an extremely lucrative keyword pertaining to that product. It's actually a keyword that several of the other sites, many affiliate sites, have built a ton of backlinks and a ton of aggressive SEO for. We have done none, we only did the review and we didn't even really target the keyword, I think the word might have been mentioned one time in the post. But we're on the first page of Google above a lot of those affiliate sites and actually just right underneath the product creator itself.”
Hiddleston recommends, “If you'd like to have a professional team handle your SEO, visit SEOsenate.com which is the team that not only does the work for LeanMeanMarketing.com but also all of my other sites as well.”
