Every couple months or so, Nutty Steph's Chocolate Shop has a costumed theme at their Bacon Thursday http://www.facebook.com/
baconthursday affair. On March 28, 2013 “Bunny Thursday” will take place at Nutty Steph’s from 6pm - 12am. The event will begin with the inauguration of Nutty Steph’s Chocolate Shop--by Ben Cohen and Jerry Greenfield (founders of Ben & Jerry’s) who will be on site—as the first official permanent Stamping Station for “Stamp Stampede,” Ben Cohen’s initiative to “Stamp Money out of Politics.” A Bunny costume competition judged by Ben and Jerry will follow the inauguration.
Bunny Thursday guests will be able to have their cash stamped with “Not to be used for bribing politicians”
and “Stamp money out of politics.” Guests can also enter a bunny costume competition judged by Ben and Jerry. Winners will be awarded giant chocolate bunny prizes in the following categories: Best Boy Bunny, Best Hunny Bunny, Bunny Colony (for costumes consisting of more than 1 bunny), and Most Funny Bunny.
Josie Green and Jaquelyn Rieke, co-owners of Nutty Steph’s and co-operators of Bacon Thursday will expect FULL costume participation for this particular night, and will reserve the right to turn away anybunny NOT in costume. Male and female alike must be wearing bunny ears at the very least.
