VERC Enterprises Receives Social Media Award from Convenience Store Decisions

 
March 18, 2013 - PRLog -- VERC Enterprises, a leading convenience store and Mobil/Gulf gasoline operator with locations throughout Eastern Massachusetts and New Hampshire, is the recipient of a 2013 Social Media Award from Convenience Store Decisions (CSD).

CSD is a print and online publication with an audience of more than 40,000 retailers within convenience chains, non-traditional convenience environments and wholesalers serving convenience stores.

The 2013 Social Media Awards is the CSD’s first annual look at those convenience store chains that are doing a superior job of connecting with their customers via the Internet and social media.

VERC Enterprises was named winner of the Best Customer Service Engagement for Facebook Engagement.

“When CSD looked at the Facebook engagement of 51 chains on December 10, 2012, some 91 of VERC’s 235 Facebook fans – or 38.7% -- were ‘talking about’ VERC,” said Erin Rigik, Associate Editor at Convenience Store Decisions.  “VERC Enterprises managed to keep a higher percentage of its fan base interested, active and sharing at the time the results were tallied.”
