Hilton Hollis Is Featured Designer at Fashion Week New Orleans From March 20-24, 2013

NEW YORK - March 18, 2013 - PRLog -- NYC fashion designer, Hilton Hollis, will be a featured designer at Fashion Week New Orleans from March 20-24, 2013.  Fashion Week NOLA’s goal is to redefine what it means to be fashionable and is committed to being the leading fashion industry event in the Gulf Coast.

Fashion Week NOLA brings designers, buyers, media, and fashion enthusiasts together annually for a week of high-end runway shows and retail shopping.  Inspired by Fashion Week New York and Louisiana’s richly diverse culture, New Orleans is globally recognized for authentic cuisine, talent, and distinctive culture.

Fashion Week NOLA presents over 50 runway shows featuring retailers, boutiques, established designers, as well as emerging designers.  Fashion Week NOLA redefines what it means to be fashionable while giving back to the community through charitable partnerships, scholarships, and a Fashion Industry Career Day.  Media partners and sponsors include WWD, The Times-Picayune, and Saks Fifth Avenue.

Hilton Hollis will be featuring looks from both his Spring 2013 and Fall 2013 collections.  The Spring 2013 collection titled, “Ethereal Angels”, is free spirited and encompasses fabrics that float over the body.  The Fall 2013 collection titled, “The Exoskeleton”, will feature pieces that mimic surface textures of some animals with an exoskeleton, covering the body with fabric that acts as a barrier against the elements and strength of which is given in these outer shells.

Hollis will also be having a Spring 2013 trunk show at Ballin’s from March 18-22.
