SAN FRANCISCO - March 18, 2013 - PRLog -- SAN FRANCISCO –  Daegis , a leading provider of eDiscovery solutions, today announced that Doug Stewart, Vice President of Technology and Innovation, will speak at Vermont Law School, the top-ranked environmental law school, on Wednesday, March 20, at 10:00 a.m. Stewart will speak on the topic of eDiscovery with an emphasis on process and technology.

Stewart’s session will give students a practical look into how eDiscovery is conducted in the real world.  He will use the Electronic Discovery Reference Model (EDRM) and other public resources as a guide. Stewart was invited to speak on eDiscovery as part of the eLawyering class.

Stewart’s participation is sponsored by the Center for Legal Innovation at Vermont Law School.  Stewart has more than 25 years of information technology, security, and management experience in the design and implementation of hardware and software for litigation support. Stewart participates in the IMRM (Information Management Reference Model) Working Group of the EDRM (Electronic Discovery Reference Model) Project. He frequently writes and speaks on eDiscovery topics within the legal community.
