Balan Inc. Fashion Produces Bet’s Ninth Annual Rip The Runway

PRLog (Press Release) - Mar. 17, 2013 - NEW YORK -- NEW YORK, NY – On March 20, 2013 BET’s "RIP THE RUNWAY" will premier on televisions nationwide. It is one of the most anticipated fashion show productions of the year and is highly praised for shining a spotlight on the hottest up and coming fashion and accessory designers. As well as taste makers and of course, the fiercest models to showcase the designs. This year’s show is jam packed with fashion, with a focus on versatility and being stylish at all times.

Carline Balan and Michou St. Jules, fashion producers of the show and owners of Balan Inc., a New York based lifestyle and glam fashion agency; single-handedly transformed the look of BET’s Rip the Runway. Their celebrity style team conceptualized, hand selected designers, constructed looks, and executed all fashion components of the show- bringing to life their artistic vision. The Fashion Director, Jerod McClairn dually an A-list celebrity stylist keeps us surprised all night. He and the team presented displays of everything from resort wear, business casual to red carpet and packed everything in between.  

The shows highlights were an eclectic mix of fabrics and colors, as was the diverse blend of more than 50 designers. Some of the featured designers include: Rihanna for River Island, Jay Kos, MSFTS by Jaden Smith, Alfa by Boris Kodjoe, Shanda Style, Nicolas Jebran, Love Love by Jami and many more.
