We honor mom by spending quality time on a beautiful scenic trail while giving back to the efforts that support women and children.  Walk, Run or Race it, just wear your best Sunday black and gold or your favorite Who Dat attire.  There's a FUN run/walk before the big 5k, so grab your umbrella or pagoda; decorate it if you feel like it!  Because rain or shine, it's on!  The River Shack Tavern will be our host spot; so stop in for music and a mimosa!  Mom’s Day 5k trail walk/run will take place on Sunday, May 12, 2013 and is open to everyone.

Presented by PAE-Nola Metro, Runners, Walkers, and Sunday-Strollers will meet on the Mississippi River Trail (Levee) at 9:00am, walk/run starts at 10:00am. If you are more of a cheerleader, we can use volunteers!  And of course, having Sponsors to help us do our part for this event are absolutely welcome. Registration fees increase as it gets closer to the event day.  Online registration will end the day before event day.  Fee increased if registering on day of event.

Mom’s Day 5k is a collaborative effort between Plan Ahead Events locations around the country so you will be taking part in a nationwide celebration for a good cause in each city participating.  Although Plan Ahead Events has offices throughout the USA, each location is Independently owned and operated.  Be part of this unique way to celebrate mom!
