Call for Entries: 2014 Beaufort international Film Festival

BEAUFORT, S.C. - March 16, 2013 - PRLog -- The Beaufort Film Society has announced that it is now accepting entries for the 8th annual Beaufort International  International Film Festival (BIFF) held in Beaufort, SC.  Categories for competition are: Features , Documentaries, Short Films, Student Films, Animation, and Screenplays.  The festival will be held February 12 - 16, 2014. The Early Bird deadline for submissions is July 31, 2013 with the final deadline being October 31, 2013.  

Considered one of the fastest growing film festivals in the country, BIFF has seen an increase in attendance each year since its inception in 2007 when it's estimated that 500 people were in attendance.  BIFF 2013 set a new attendance record when nearly 8000 people enjoyed some part of the 4 four day festival.  "We are thrilled that our festival continues to grow but we also strive to make sure we keep the down home, southern hospitality" flavor that our filmmakers love. " stated Executive Director Ron Tucker.
