Novers Financial Sponsors New Charity Run Helping Pregnant Mothers

MANSFIELD, Texas - March 15, 2013 - PRLog -- Each year pregnant women all across the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex that desire to keep their babies seek assistance through the outreach efforts of the Arlington Pregnancy Center with offices located in Arlington and Mansfield, Texas. The Novers Financial staff joined forces with host church Walnut Ridge Baptist on Saturday, March 9, and participated as a corporate sponsor of the 2013 Ridge Run. This 5K/1K event is one of the main fund raising events each year for the centers. Without the assistance of donations from companies like Novers Financial and others the organization would certainly struggle.  

Co-founders Brady Speers and Chris Novinger have been direct supporters of the Arlington Pregnancy Center each year for many years. This year “Team Novers” had over 25 participants including friends and family of staff which brought the total amount raised for the center to $2100. Clients of the firm also made donations to the organization through the company.

“It is real simple. We believe in and are called to help others,” said co-founder Brady Speers. “Our entire business model is about helping people financially so supporting this cause really makes complete sense. Not to mention the fact that we are pro-life and most of our charitable donations each year center on helping children and families.”  

The event was dropped for a few years until they found a new host in Walnut Ridge. Mr. Speers is an active member of the church and was also glad to see the overwhelming response the event had.

“The people at my church are amazing and the community came out to be a part of it as well. There were hundreds of people out there on a cold, windy, rainy morning. It was great to see,” Speers said. “I think next year it will be even bigger and we will certainly be glad to be a part of it.”
