By: Trelora Realty Company Real estate company has saved consumers more than $660,000 in commissions CENTENNIAL, CO—March 15, 2013—When Joshua Hunt started Trelora Real Estate (http://trelora.com/) Hunt’s company has now taken the next step by offering a $3,000 fee to brokers who bring buyers for any of Trelora’s listings (on any price home). Trelora also offers its home sellers the choice of giving a $3,000 fee or a 1, 2 or 2.8 percent commission to buyers’ brokers. Recently, Trelora sold a condo that it had listed in the Cherry Creek North area for $750,000. The owner, Craig Slawson, paid Trelora a flat fee of $1,700 and $3,000 was paid to the buyer’s broker—saving Slawson nearly $35,000 from a traditional real estate commission. “I have bought and sold a few homes on my own but it was a much better use of my time to retain Trelora’s team to market my home,” says Slawson. “They sold it for the price I needed within a month and I saved thousands of dollars in commissions. The real estate industry has changed and it’s a ‘no-brainer’ “Technology has streamlined the process of buying and selling a house or property to the extent that it is very efficient,” explains Hunt. “An affordable, flat-rate realty fee of $1,700 to sell a home was determined through countless hours of researching the market and the industry as a whole, and we feel it is fair estimate of what the services truly cost an agent. “Because the market is beginning to accept the reality of what efficiencies today’s technologies allow, we have started to work with sellers of higher-end homes like Craig and offer additional savings to consumers through reduced buyer’s broker fees on our listings,” Hunt continues. “The process of selling a million dollar home is the same as selling a home for $100,000. Why should consumers pay higher costs based on a percentage of the home price?” About Trelora Trelora, the full-service, flat-rate fee realty company, was launched in late 2011 by Industry Veteran Joshua Hunt. Its mission is to generate consumer savings on transaction fees for buying and selling homes. For more information, visit www.trelora.com or call 303-886-3000. End
