3rd Annual CupCake Wars NYC Fundraiser for A Young Mother's D.R.E.A.M.

BROOKLYN, N.Y. - March 15, 2013 - PRLog -- Join A Young Mother's D.R.E.A.M. on Sunday March 17th at Fashion Forty Lounge for our 3rd Annual CupCake Wars Fundraiser. Each year close to 150 people gather to see who will prevail as the winner in both the judges and people's choice categories. This year will be no different, with 10 bakers all lined up to demonstrate their skills to our expert judges and our attendees

Our judges include Ebow Dadzie, Pastry Chef at the NY Marriott Marquis and 2007 International Pastry Chef of the Year. Anthony Smith, 2012 International Pastry Chef of the Year and Thalia Warner, reigning champion of CupCake Wars for the last 2 years. The grand prize winner will be chosen by the judges and will win $250, courtesy of Statefarm George Boyce Agency and a $50 promo code courtesy of Seamless.com. The people's choice winner will be decided by our attendees and will win a one day "Stage" at the NY Marriott Marquis shadowing Pastry Chef Ebow Dadzie along with a $50 promo code from Seamless.com.  

With close to 500 cupcakes in the building, music and some amazing happy hour specials, CupCake Wars NYC part 3 is sure to be a success. It's a party with a purpose as all proceeds support programming and scholarships for A Young Mother's D.R.E.A.M. Our goal is to help teen moms complete their education and pursue their dreams.

A Young Mother's D.R.E.A.M. is a 501c3 non-profit organization. Our mission is to assist young/teen moms in completing their education through a one-on-one mentorship program. To motivate them to become more accomplished individuals. To instill determination, resilience and excellence as core characteristics for these mothers. To work together to decrease teen pregnancies by promoting healthy choices, goal setting and education. The organization pairs young mothers with a mentor who is a former young mother who has gone on to complete her education.
