The International Society of Diversity and Inclusion Professionals has formed a strategic partnership with the University of Virginia Darden School of Business to launch the groundbreaking Darden Diversity Executive in Residence Program

CARY, N.C. - March 15, 2013 - PRLog -- Cary, NC  – The International Society of Diversity and Inclusion Professionals (ISDIP), the first global comprehensive association for the diversity and inclusion field that spans all industries and sectors, formed a strategic partnership with the University of Virginia Darden School of Business (http://www.darden.virginia.edu/) to launch the groundbreaking Darden Diversity Executive in Residence Program.

The two-day, invitation-only program is designed to engage senior-level executives and thought leaders from corporations around the globe with students and faculty on campus at the Darden School of Business biannually.

“This partnership aligns with our school mission and our goals to graduate future leaders with robust core competencies that include diversity,” says Kellie Sauls, associate director of admissions at Darden. “Corporate senior level executives will address diversity in business within our enterprise, which will allow Darden to provide the most relevant, applicable and real-time learning opportunity for students who will arguably lead the most diverse workforce to date.”

The inaugural Diversity in Residence corporation will be Sodexo.

Key objectives for the Darden Diversity Executive in Residence Program include:

►Student Learning: Students will discover from senior-level global business leaders diversity and inclusion and leadership best practices.
►Researcher/Practitioner Engagement: Participants will share best practices and insights to expand knowledge and generate next-level diversity performance.
►Organizational Mission & Corporate Citizenship Development: Partnering organizations will develop long-term and mutually beneficial relationships to help meet their missions and achieve their corporate citizenship goals.
