ACMA Buyers-Sellers Business Meet & Exhibition at Pune gets overwhelming response

PUNE, India - March 15, 2013 - PRLog -- ACMA the apex body of the Automotive component industry in India, with a membership of over 670 manufacturers, organised a very successful Buyers-Sellers Business meet at Pune. The event spread over two days of March 13 and 14, 2013 is aimed at providing business opportunities to small auto component manufacturers especially the Tier 2 and Tier 3 companies.

Commenting on the very successful event, Mr Surinder Kanwar, President, ACMA said, “I am delighted that the ACMA Buyers-Sellers Business Meet has received an overwhelming response from the Auto Component Manufacturers as well the OEMs and International Procurement Offices (IPOs). He further said that Supply Chain Committee of ACMA initiated the drive to handhold the Tier-2/3 companies through the Buyers Sellers Business Meets. ACMA takes this business meet to different regions for a wider coverage of Tier-2/3 companies in the region. In this event over 50 auto component manufacturers will be exhibiting their capabilities in the exhibition. The purchase and sourcing team of Leading OEMs such as Tata Motors, Bajaj Auto, Force Motors, Mahindra & Mahindra , VW and GM  have been invited to visit the exhibition. I am confident that the event will also strengthen the Automotive Supply Chain in the region. ”

Mr. Sandeep Balooja, Chairman, ACMA (Western Region) said, “ACMA Western Region representing over 200 auto component manufacturers, constitutes over 30 percent of its total membership. Our endeavour has been to provide value added services to the auto component industry in the region. We are indeed delighted to organise the second edition of the Buyers Sellers Meet & Exhibition at Pune. Outlining the objectives of the event, Mr. Rattan Kapur, Chairman, ACMA-Supply Chain Committee said, “This is the second edition of ACMA Buyers-Sellers meet at Pune, over the last two years ACMA has also successfully organised Buyers-Sellers Meet at Ludhiana, Gurgaon, Pune and Rudrapur. The Buyers-Sellers meet provide a platform for Tier-1 companies to display components for which they need suppliers, for Tier-2 and Tier 3 companies to showcase their capabilities and display components for which they need buyers and explore new business opportunities. ”
