Click Energy is now the second electricity retailer to launch this progressive service that lets customers with Smart Meters inspect their electricity usage patterns closer than has been previously possible.
The AskFred portal lets customers break down their electricity usage data into weekly, daily or half-hour increments, with an additional option to view the energy usage data in dollars, kilowatt hours or carbon dioxide emission rates. Customers can also compare their consumption to others and set energy usage goals.
Pieter Double, the General Manager of Marketing at Click Energy says: “the idea for AskFred evolved from the desire to make electricity bills more transparent and let our customers manage their electricity consumption more efficiently.”
To celebrate the launch of AskFred, Click Energy has also announced a prize draw for its Victorian customers who update their profile on AskFred before March 12, 2013.
