PRLog (Press Release) - Mar. 14, 2013 - TAMAKI, New Zealand -- The See* Change Project is a global grassroots project created to support *Social, Economic & Environmental – Action, Innovation and Change at the grassroots. The project kicked off with an online campaign aimed at getting 1million people around the world to anonymously donate $100 of their change for change in the world – and collectively raise the capital to make the project a reality.

The See* Change Campaign runs for 80 days from March 7th – May 25th 2013 and is being run online at www.seechangeproject.org

Over 5 years the project will track each $100 donated as it gets split into 5 project areas and makes possible the funding of 770 grassroots projects, $6million of unexpected acts of kindness, support 3 projects with long term funding in 3 communities and more.

The project is an initiative of the Erick Holmes Foundation, a grassroots organisation based in Aotearoa, New Zealand. It has been developed and delivered by 25year old co-founder Philippa Holmes.

Inspired from Philippa’s own journey of running a grassroots organisation, she sees this as a way to raise funding for work taking place at the grassroots of communities who often do not have the time and capacity to raise themselves, while shining a light and giving an insider’s look into the people, projects, organisation and ideas changing our planet from the ground up.
