By: HealthPost Along with their usual favourite charities, customers will now be able to choose from a rotating Charity of the Month every time they complete an order on the website. By expanding their Donation Programme to include a Charity of the Month enables them to extend their support to some of the many great organisations around New Zealand in need of funding. HealthPost will now donate $2 for every customer selection of the Charity of the Month, a very worthy cause! HealthPost’s new charity this month is The Muscular Dystrophy Association of New Zealand with some more information per the recent post on our Facebook page. Euromusclar conditions primarily result in muscle wastage that can be devastating for those diagnosed and their families. Symptoms can appear just after birth or much later in life; they are unpredictable and there is no cure. The MDA provides free one-on-one advice, support and advocacy mainly by home visits. They receive no government funding and rely solely on public donations. Just to be clear, this donation actually doesn’t cost the customer anything extra at all. All donations are made by HealthPost and all the customer needs to do is select their preferred cause at checkout when they have completed their order. At HealthPost they recognise that their customers are conscious not only of price but want to make a purchase that they can feel good about on all levels. It is not enough to BE well; we also need to Do well. This is philanthropy working at its best and the team at HealthPost should be congratulated on this innovative scheme. HealthPost has been recognised as being truly committed to balancing profits and principles. They believe in the products they sell and are proud to be a part of people taking responsibility for their own health and wellbeing.
