Ampex and Curtiss-Wright team for best of breed flight test solution

REDWOOD CITY, Calif. - March 14, 2013 - PRLog -- Ampex Data Systems Corporation (Ampex) today announced a teaming agreement with Curtiss-Wright Controls Avionics & Electronics (CWC-AE) for the flight test market. The agreement provides customers with a truly best of breed flight test instrumentation and IRIG 106 Chapter 10 recording system. Users who have adopted the Chapter 10 standard for digital on-board recording will now be offered a combined data acquisition and recording solution to meet their needs.

The agreement means both parties will share their product development roadmaps to ensure key enhancements and technology developments are aligned with market needs. Customers will also benefit from a single point of contact for sales and customer support requests.
