Free Biotechnology Showcase at Harrisburg U for High School and Middle School Students

HARRISBURG, Pa. - March 14, 2013 - PRLog -- The Capital Area Biotechnology Partnership’s free Biotechnology Showcase is set for April 17th at Harrisburg University of Science and Technology in PA.

The annual free event allows high school students to learn about skills and careers in the biotechnology field, perform cool hands-on laboratory activities, engage in discussions and much more. The event also includes a poster competition open to all high school students.
The 2013 Biotechnology Showcase is scheduled to occur 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., April 17th at Harrisburg University of Science and Technology, located at 326 Market Street in Harrisburg. The event also includes a laboratory session for middle school students from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m.

With its program of lectures, expert discussions, presentations and networking opportunities, the Biotechnology Showcase has become a flagship event for students, educators, and industry.
