BEDFORD, Mass. - March 14, 2013 - PRLog -- Libman Education announces an online Anatomy and Physiology Skills Assessment tool to help medical coding directors better assess medical coding department readiness for ICD-10.

A strong knowledge of Anatomy and Physiology is a recommended prerequisite for successfully transitioning medical coding staff to ICD-10-CM/PCS in advance of the October 2014 implementation deadline. The greater specificity of ICD-10-PCS, in particular, means that good A&P knowledge will be required to code quickly and accurately.

The Anatomy and Physiology for Coders Assessment consists of 120 questions covering 12 critical body systems corresponding to Libman Education’s popular online Anatomy and Physiology for Coders course.  Course completion time is estimated to be 60-90 minutes. Group pricing is available.
