Marsha Ambrosius - Already proven as a talented, sought after songwriter and revered platinum-selling artist, Marsha Ambrosius is meeting the next challenge in her already impressive musical career by reinventing herself as a solo artist with her J Records debut disc LATE NIGHTS & EARLY MORNINGS.
Hailing from Liverpool, England, fans first got a taste of Marsha’s talent as the singing half of the duo Floetry. Their 2000 debut Floeticproduced signature singles like “Say Yes" and "Getting Late" as well as four Grammy nods. Following the 2005 release of their second studio album, Flo’Ology, the ladies veered creatively and personally. While the split was difficult, Marsha continued to build a name for herself as a songwriter and producer, creating “Butterflies”
Hi-Five - Even if you weren’t old enough to play the “Kissing Game,” chances are you’ve heard Hi-Five’s single of the same name, at some point, on any number of urban, R&B stations around the world. Hi-Five debuted with their self-titled hit album in 1990, which spawned singles like “I Can’t Wait Another Minute” and their biggest single, “I Like the Way (The Kissing Game).”In 1992, just before the group’s second album, Treston Irby joined the group and helped power Hi-Five to amass a number of Top 10 singles throughout the decade. The group took a long hiatus when lead singer Tony Thompson died in 2007. Now, most of the original group members are reuniting and have released their new single “Favorite Girl”. “We are coming together again for our fans,” group member Treston Irby told AllHipHop.com. “All true R&B fans will love the new material.
Andre Mieux - Andre Mieux aka A.M.X. is an innovative, deeply creative young talent poised to make further strides along the career path begun when he was in elementary school. His music is R&B/Pop for the 2012 listener, peppered with hints of the past, with an eye and ear for the future. His talent is fueled by his need to move freely through genres, taking elements from everything he sees and hears in the current trends to R&B and Contemporary Classical Music legends of the past.
Like the iconic Marvin Gaye, Andre is tall and handsome, and sometimes he can be, like Marvin, lushly romantic. He is as intense and driven as classical genius Van Cliburn, Jr. who achieved worldwide recognition in 1958 at the age of twenty-three, when he won the first quadrennial International Tchaikovsky Piano Competition in Moscow..
