The company's experts close to the situation have told them that the trial in Los Angeles where the plaintiff was awarded $8.3MM should speed the process up now other trials are also under way, and J&J seems to be on the losing end so far.
"DePuy has already recalled the ASR Hip, settled cases, and lost a jury trial; there really isn't much more to say regarding their belief that this litigation is going to cost Johnson & Johnson billions of dollars.
