In his legal practice, Brinkley focuses on real estate, governmental relations and natural resources matters. He has experience in real estate development, real estate purchase and sale transactions, renewable energy development, Clean Water Act compliance, and zoning and permitting issues. Brinkley is a member of the America Bar Association and Kansas Bar Association. He is also a member of the Nebraska Bar Association and presently serves on the Executive Committee of the Agricultural Law Section. He has served as the Vice Chairman of the Natural Resources Section. In addition, Brinkley is a 2012 Member of the Nebraska Water Leaders Academy, and recently served as a Board Member for the American Parkinson’s Disease Association Nebraska Chapter. He is not yet admitted to practice in the State of Colorado. Brinkley received his undergraduate degree in Political Science from the University of Northern Colorado, and earned his juris doctorate from the University of Kansas.
