Columbia, Maryland – March 11, 2013 – Advanced Biotechnologies Inc (ABI) has released HIV-1 (IIIB Strain) Purified Viral Lysate (Catalog No. 10-121-000).

The lysate is prepared using HIV IIIB purified virus propagated in HuT 78 cells. The protein concentration is adjusted to approximately 1.0 mg/ml and lysed with Triton X-100 to a final concentration of 1% in TNE buffer. This product tested negative for bacteria, yeast, fungi, and Mycoplasma, and has been validated for inactivation by a cell culture-based assay and no infectious virus was detected.

ABI’s NEW HIV-1 (IIIB Strain) Purified Viral Lysate has a wide variety of applications: ELISA or Western blot testing requiring non-infectious viral proteins, Dot blot, and other protein-based assays.
