AUSTIN –Shermco Industries’ Kevin Ewing, general manager of the Austin office, has been appointed chairman of the 2013 IEEE joint Austin Chapter of Power & Energy Society, Industrial Applications Society, Power Electronics Society and Industrial Electronics Society, known as the PI² chapter for short.
Ewing has been an active member for five years and has served as the vice chair in 2012 and chapter treasurer in 2011.
“Our chapter is very active in the industry, and I can’t be more honored to lead the group this year,” said Kevin Ewing, general manager of the Shermco Austin office.
