TRENTON, Mich. - March 13, 2013 - PRLog -- The Trenton Rotary Club is gearing up to offer a new GIRLS GOT WINE, a ladies night out for charity fundraiser on Wednesday May 8 at the Westfield Center 6-9pm. The cost to attend is $25 in advance or $30 at the door (if available).

Last year the group held a MOM Prom that was unique and well received but the group decided the theme might be limiting the ladies so this new event was created.

There will be seven area businesses featured at the food and wine tasting event. A seven course sampling will be paired with appropriate wine and one craft beer station. There will be a main course station serving tableside prepared steak medallions, sponsored by Trenton Summer Festival/Civic Commission. The Market Insights pasta station will feature marinara and meat topping selections. The Jackson, Snider Parker DDS office will host the super salad station which will offer a fresh tossed Greek salad. The TV’s Deli Diner Soup Station will feature one of their own souper samplings and two appetizer stations, one sponsored by Colors By Kim Day Spa and Salon will feature a barbeque sampling along with a craft beer selection. Jackson Dental Design Studio will present another appealing appetizer with a delicious wine pairing. The decadent dessert table will be hosted by Coachstop Manor and feature a variety of sweets and tastes. The group is still looking for a wine glass sponsor to have their logo on all event glasses for $600.

“This will be a fantastic girls night out. Not only for trying all the great food and wine from Trenton businesses, but there will be Mothers Day shopping, raffle, a spa room, door prizes and more!” indicated Chairperson Kathy Kane. “You can even purchase wine by the case for a discount and Beverage Express will be donating a portion back to the club as well.”

The group will have a maximum of fifteen shopping boutiques including Premier Jewelry, Origami Owl, 31, Scentsy, Tupperware, Bling on Shoes, Longerberger, Mary Kay, Beach Body Coach, Unforgettable Candy Tables, Partylite and more.

Tickets can be obtained by contacting the City Clerk's Office at City Hall and online www.trentonrotary.net .   For more information call Kathy Kane at (734) 676-9561 ex. 2.

The money raised from GIRLS GOT WINE is used to support a wide range of charitable endeavors the Rotary Club engages in throughout the year. Trenton Rotary supports as many as 50 different charities or events each year with its donations.
