Travis and Makayla wanted to build a facility where guests of all ages could come and have a great time. They wanted to find a company that could help them realize this dream and guide them through the entire process. During a visit to an industry conference in 2011, Travis and Makayla found exactly what they were looking for when they met the Creative Works team. Creative Works put together a plan to design and install three attractions:
In order to keep the themes consistent throughout the facility, all three attractions were designed with a jungle twist. Overgrown trees, ancient stone statues, and large pyramid props were scattered throughout the 4,000 square foot laser tag arena. With enough space to accommodate up to 24 players, this attraction was designed to have a high throughput and fast ROI. In the mini golf course, brilliant scenes of rampaging rhinos and charging elephants were hand-painted into the airbrushed murals, and wild animal props created obstacles for players.
The Lazer Frenzy was placed in the arcade area of the facility. With an Auto-Attendant feature and redemption capabilities, this game operates just like any typical arcade game. The small size and interactive game play have made it one of the best mini attractions on the market. “Our team really enjoyed working on this project,” commented Jeff Schilling of Creative Works. “We always appreciate the opportunity to have such a large role in a project in order to create a well-rounded attraction mix.”
In addition to these products from Creative Works, the facility also boasts a full kitchen, a banquet hall, and space for future growth outdoors. With so many great options for guests, Maks Family Fun is bound to be a success for many years to come.
