NEW: DUSTOMAT mobile dust extractors in ATEX-compliant versions
Based on the technical specifications of ATEX product guideline 94/9/EC, the DUSTOMAT series safely and effectively removes flammable and explosive dusts that arise when bulk goods are processed. The DUSTOMAT P mobile dust extractor can be used at machine and manual workstations, as well as for direct extraction at plants or production lines. They are also suitable for connection to ATEX-compliant extraction elements, such as extraction arms and exhaust hoods. The latter are used, for example, in conveying systems in the bulk goods industry. The dust extractors are available in two performance levels and come standard with two filter cartridges and a backup filter for dust class H. The filter cartridges are cleared automatically through jet pulse cleaning by compressed air blasts. An impact separator integrated into the filter housing assures uniform flow of filter elements. This also separates coarse particles and ensures long filter life.
An impact separator integrated into the filter housing assures uniform flow of filter elements. This also separates coarse particles and ensures long filter life. The DUSTOMAT series is distinctive not only for its optimized functionality, but also for significantly improved design. The clear, simple layout of the controls greatly improves ease of operation, while the filter housing's proven, patented tilting mechanism has been retained. This eases access to the filter chamber and makes it simple to dispose of the collected dust. ESTA can provide test certificates on the new device series' extraction of toxic substances. Their stainless-steel design also meets the strict safety and hygiene requirements of the food industry.
NEW RELEASE: MOBEX stationary compact dust extractors
If extraction has to be done at more than one location at the same time, the newly released MOBEX line of stationary compact dust extractors is the right choice. A pipe system for a maximum of four extraction points turns the extractor into a central exhaust system for plants or production lines. The devices effectively capture dusts arising from powder, grain or granulate solids and help keep the work environment clean. With its new design, the MOBEX series is distinctive for its innovative housing with a patent-pending fold system. It is based on light, stable plastic sandwich panels that ensure low-noise operation. At the same time, the dust extractor’s 3 kW and 4 kW versions deliver more power and a wider range of applications. Always integrated is ESTA’s tried-and-true jet pulse system, which automatically cleans the filters with compressed air shots during operation. The separated dusts fall downward, as do coarse particles and shavings, which are captured by the integrated impact separator as soon as they enter the dust extractor housing. This design not only optimizes airflow, but also contributes to longer filter life. MOBEX dust extractors are optionally available in ATEX-compliant versions for use in Zone 22 explosive environments. Due to improvements in air technology and design, the new, more economical series of devices has completely replaced the old MOBEX line.
There is a new concept for disposing of collected dust material. Dust can be removed easily through a retractable drawer. To create a simple, low-dust procedure, ESTA offers special boxes in the right sizes. The drawer has room for two of these containers, which capture about 50 litres each.
