Inventor and bipolar patient Kimberly Knox had the foresight to chart her emotions, medications and conditions at play such as sleep quality, mood and medications using a graphic system. She found that this helped her make adjustments to improve her life quality so she decided to share this with others in the form of an iPhone app.
Mood Watch allows users to input information about the quality of sleep, mood, emotions, blood pressure, mindfulness, medications and supplements, and calmness to create an easy to understand graphic display. This information can help users to take steps needed to improve moods or to share information with medical professionals.
Now available for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch at 99 cents, Ms. Knox seeks to bring more features to the app by introducing it in six other languages in addition to English. While she is able to provide it to the 21 million Americans that have an anxiety, depression or bipolar disorder, she seeks to make it available to people in other countries. Her goal is to see the product introduced at speaking engagements worldwide in an effort to improve the quality of life for people around the world.
