Mar. 12, 2013 - PHILADELPHIA -- PHILADELPHIA, Pennsylvania (March 12, 2013) – Volpe and Koenig, P.C., an intellectual property law firm with offices in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and Princeton, New Jersey announced that Shareholder Michael F. Snyder recently served as a panelist at a forum titled, “Getting to Know Europe Business Forums: Strategic Transatlantic Partnerships in Professional Services.” The February 28, 2013 event was sponsored by the Center for European Studies at Rutgers University and the European-American Chamber of Commerce of New Jersey and held at the Nassau Club in Princeton, NJ. Snyder addressed strategies for protecting global Intellectual Property Rights (IPR), as well as critical aspects of IPR due diligence, in the context of business transactions. The forum featured a panel of industry authorities who shared their expertise on transatlantic business from the perspectives of IPR, the legal environment, banking, accounting, and financing. This event was the first in a series of forums that will address building closer ties between businesses in Europe and New Jersey.
Snyder, a seasoned intellectual property law practitioner, practices in all areas of trademarks, patents and copyrights, and associated licensing, litigation and due diligence investigations. He is a member of the bar associations of Pennsylvania and New Jersey, the Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit, and the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. He earned a J.D.,
cum laude, from Temple University School of Law, and a B.S.,
summa cum laude, in Pharmacy from Temple University School of Pharmacy.
