RingDNA Hires Salesforce.com’s Greg Tate as VP of Sales

RingDNA, the intelligent telephony company, has ignited its enterprise sales efforts by hiring Salesforce.com's Greg Tate as Vice President of Sales.
 
SAN FRANCISCO - March 12, 2013 - PRLog -- (SAN FRANCISCO) - RingDNA announced that it has boosted its enterprise sales efforts by hiring Greg Tate as Vice President of Sales. Tate comes from Salesforce.com, where he served in strategic and leadership roles while the company quickly became the most widely adopted cloud computing platform in the world. Tate will be responsible for leading the RingDNA platform sales effort, beginning with its cloud marketing and sales solutions for Salesforce.com customers.

As Director of North American Sales Engineers at Salesforce.com, Tate managed an enterprise division that grew dramatically under his tenure. As an Account Executive, Greg’s accounts included Roche/Genentech, Blue Shield of California, Amazon.com, Levi’s and many others.

“Greg’s experience successfully managing key accounts for the world’s largest CRM provider makes him the ideal candidate to strategically grow our base of enterprise customers,” says RingDNA Founder and CEO Howard Brown.

Tate also brings 16 years of sales engineering experience at companies that were successfully acquired. Prior to his work at Salesforce.com, Tate worked at Grand Central, Inc., where he built the Software as a Service partner network for the On Demand Integration Platform. He also worked at Amberpoint, Inc., a tech startup which was recently acquired by Oracle, and webMethods, which was acquired by Software AG.
