Spanish Fork, Utah, March 12, 2013 North Star Printing announced today the company has purchased and installed a Kongsberg XP Esko CAD table. The CAD table interfaces with the ArtiosCAD allowing the company to fabricate folded carton and package samples for their customers.

“Folded carton and package printing and fabrication is a strategic area of growth for our company”, said Neal Foster CEO of North Star Printing. “This new equipment will allow us to provide a one stop solution for our customers. From packaging concept and design, through printing and delivery we continue to look for opportunities to provide value added services to our customer/partners”.

Foster credits listening to customers and early investment in new technology and equipment as critical components in driving the packaging segment. And according to Foster, the company continues to expand to leverage this emerging segment.
