Excellence in internal communication - IoIC Awards open for entry

MILTON KEYNES, U.K. - March 12, 2013 - PRLog -- The Institute of Internal Communication (IoIC) is issuing a call to practitioners who aspire to be recognised as the best in their field to enter its 2013 Awards.

The Institute wants to hear about internal communications that have really made a difference, and campaigns or channels that make people sit up and take notice. The IoIC Awards seek to identify the best of the best from the full spectrum of internal communication activities – achievements that inspire and epitomise best practice, incisive strategy, creativity and effective evaluation.

Award categories encompass: campaigns; innovation; print; digital media; writing and imagery; design; events; and the ICons which provide recognition for individuals and teams who consistently demonstrate good internal communication practice.

IoIC Awards Chairman Louise Birkett said: “Effective internal communication is increasingly recognised as playing an important role in achieving business objectives and there is greater focus on evaluating its quality and impact. The IoIC Awards reinforce this industry focus by providing entrants with evaluation of their work and enabling them to benchmark it against that of their peers.

“For us the awards are integral to our goal of raising standards within the profession. They showcase outstanding achievement within our industry, providing new insights to others and helping them to raise the bar within their own organisations. Every year we review the classes we offer to make sure they reflect what’s happening within the industry.”

Winners will receive their awards at a prestigious industry dinner in September.

The closing date is 19 April with a final deadline of 30 April (late entry fee applies).
