Judging panel announced for TMT Finance MENA Awards 2013 – only 2 days left

March 12, 2013 - PRLog -- Judging panel announced for TMT Finance Middle East and North Africa Awards 2013 – only two days left to nominate!

The judging panel has been announced for the fifth annual TMT Finance Middle East and North Africa Awards 2013, which recognises exceptional achievements by Middle East and North African telecom companies, and their banking and legal advisers, and will be presented in Dubai on April 23.

The 2013 panel, which represents key figures from across the telecom, financing and advisory community, consists of:

-        Milan Sallaba, Partner, Head of Strategy Advisory, Transactions and Restructuring TMT, KPMG;

-        Enda Hardiman, Managing Partner, Hardiman Telecommunications;

-        Mohamed Amersi, Founder and CEO, Emergent Telecom Ventures;

-        Gulfraz Qayyum, Managing Director, Head of Telecoms, Middle East and North Africa, Citi;

-        Joachim Fleury, Global Head of TMT, Clifford Chance;

-        David Nataf, Head of MENA, Barclays Capital;

-        Chady Samara, Prinicipal, Booz & Company;

-        Mark T. Townsend, Business Economics Journalist;

-        Steffan Williams, Managing Director, Capital MSL

Award categories are: Deal of the Year, CEO, Mobile Operator, M&A Adviser, Regulator, Broadband Operator, Growth Story, Financing Bank, Technology Provider and Law Firm.  The 2013 winners will be presented at the Gala Awards Dinner which ends the first day of the annual TMT Finance Middle East & North Africa Conference taking place at Mina A’ Salam, Madinat Jumeira, Dubai from April 23-24.  (www.tmtfinance.com/mena ).

The TMT Finance Middle East North Africa awards are assessed by predesigned criteria measuring a number of key drivers and performance indicators including revenue growth and deal size. The Awards criteria was researched and designed by TMT Finance, the news, research and global conference business (www.tmtfinance.com), and its advisory partners. Voting for nominations closes on March 14 (www.tmtfinance.com/awards ) following which a short list of candidates for each category is provided to the judge for assessment.  Short lists will be publicly announced in March.
