OAKLAND, Calif. - March 12, 2013 - PRLog -- Science, Engineering, Mathematics (SEM) Link and The I.S.I.S. Project partner to host its 1st Annual San Francisco Bay Area Science Fiction Writing Contest for middle and high school students.  The goal of the contest is to create a space where youth get an opportunity to explore the intersection between science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) and creative writing. The contest is open for all San Francisco Bay Area students in grades 6-12.  “Students who like science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) and creative writing are often told they have to choose between STEM and their creative side.” says Ms. Tokiwa T.
