New Higgs Announcement Will Make Marshall Barnes The Man Who Dethroned Stephen Hawking

For years Stephen Hawking's press corp has carefully crafted his image of being the "greatest mind on the planet", as the Discovery Channel once named him. However, since in 2008, Marshall Barnes has become his main and most aggressive challenger.

March 14, 2013 - PRLog -- According to a recent report from CBS News, scientists associated with the Large Hadron Collider are expected to make an announcement soon that the particle identified last year as the Higgs Boson, is in fact the Higgs according to all available data. This will put out all doubt on the question and seal the defeat of Stephen Hawking over the issue for which he had announced that he'd bet $100 that the LHC would not find the Higgs. It will simultaneously be a major victory for Hawking critic and research and development engineer, Marshall Barnes, who took the bet with Hawking publicly, based on the fact that Marshall knows when Hawking is usually wrong. This position is thought of as blasphemy to Hawking fans, but Marshall has repeatedly been able to not only prove that he knows when Hawking is wrong, but that even school children can detect the errors when given a chance.

The CBS News report http://www.cbsnews.com/8301-205_162-57573330/newfound-particle-still-looks-like-a-higgs-boson , states that scientists have been pouring over the data collected before and are certain that the mysterious particle is at least a Higgs Boson if not "the" Higgs Boson required by the Standard Model of particle physics. The most nagging question for Hawking fans is that if Hawking is the greatest mind on the planet, why didn't he see this outcome coming? Marshall Barnes claims to know why and will be discussing it, in part, during a live interview tomorrow on the Beyond The Ordinary radio program at http://beyondtheordinary.net/maxshows/index.php and later during a lecture presentation called, "Why Stephen Hawking Was Wrong About The Higgs Boson (And a Number of Other Things) " . Many, but not all of the issues raised were mentioned when the Higgs announcement was made last year  .

Marshall appeared last weekend at the All-Con sci fi festival in Addison, Texas where he lectured all three days on the true physics of time travel. It is time, and the possibilities for time travel, that have Marshall most often at odds with Hawking but Marshall has been able to prove his position correct over Hawking's claims, every single time.

"Stephen Hawking is not the greatest mind on the planet," Marshall has said, paraphrasing the claim made by the Discovery Channel, "just its most intelligent comedian. You can't go around benefitting from this facade of an image and keep making claims and pronouncements that are proved to be wrong. Maybe he should just quit physics and become a permanent character on The Big Bang Theory. I heard he did very well during his guest shot a while back, though I wouldn't know for sure. I'm too busy, working to solve issues dealing with temporal mechanics, to watch a comedy about nerds, or anyone else for that matter..."

Last August, Marshall's work, including proving Hawking's "Mad Scientist Paradox" on the Discovery Channel wrong, was recognized with a proclamation from the State of Ohio General Assembly.
