Al Noor Training Centre for Children with Special Needs caters to nearly 300 children of more than 30 nationalities proving support, occupational therapy, physiotherapy, speech and language therapy, sport and music opportunities, and is one of a number of chosen charities for the Sharjah resort as part of its contribution to the community.
The Family Fun Day attracted more than 5,000 visitors offering not only a variety of food stalls but also a host of popular entertainment activities from face painting to bouncy castles, rides, raffles, quizzes and more.
According to Jean-Pierre Simon, Regional General Manager, Northern Emirates, Coral Hotels & Resorts, the AED 5,000 contribution in food sales was a small donation, but one that reflected the commitment of both the hotel management and staff to stay involved with local activities.
“The Al Noor Training Centre for Children with Special Needs does a tremendous job in looking after children with special needs, without any official financial support, relying totally on funds donated and events such as the Family Fun Fair to raise money – and, at the Coral Beach Resort – Sharjah, we are delighted to be able to contribute.”
