Oia, The Design Studio and Aastha came together for International woman’s day

PRLog (Press Release) - Mar. 12, 2013 - PUNE, India -- Cinzania Rodrigues of Oia, The Design Studio hosted a luncheon on the occasion of International Woman’s day at the ‘Olive’ restaurant at the Poona Club. The afternoon was about bringing together women from all walks of life for a common cause “BREAST CANCER” On International Women’s day, OIA, the Design Studio dedicated its logo to the fight against breast cancer and hence it decided to go pink on the 8th of March 2013.

Kalpana Gupta Sarita Lagir and Nalini Patil members of the Breast Cancer support group Aastha were the guest s of honor at the program which was attended by about 30 women. On the occasion a donation drive was held and the proceeds of the same were given to Aastha to support those in need.

With the belief that knowledge is power in the fight against cancer the guests of honor who themselves are breast cancer survivors addressed the ladies at lunch and participated in an open discussion so they could dispel any myths about Breast Cancer that existed in the minds of the guests.
