PRLog (Press Release) - Mar. 12, 2013 - OURIMBAH, Australia -- Kaitlan completed Certificate IV in Beauty Therapy at the College in December last year and within a few weeks had already secured a position as spa therapist at the luxurious Mii Spa Quay West Resort Magenta Shores.

“I absolutely love my new job as a qualified Spa Therapist”, said Kaitlan.
“I’d always wanted to get into the beauty industry, and after taking some time out after school to work full-time and travel, I was ready to focus on my dream career.

“I researched a number of courses but after speaking with Jo Woodroffe, the College’s VET Manager, I was confident the College was the right place for me.
“Being able to complete my training in under a year at Central Coast Community College right here on the Coast, meant that I could start on the career path I’d always dreamed of sooner,” she said.

Kaitlan completed her training at the College’s modern beauty training rooms in Wyong, which are equipped with the latest in beauty therapy equipment.
She also practiced her skills and techniques in the College’s bustling boutique beauty salon where students care for real clients with leading professional beauty products.

“The training at the College and the practical experience I gained in the Student Beauty Salon was the best and easiest way for me to understand the beauty industry.

“Having my own clients helped me to gain the personal and professional confidence and capability I needed to succeed in the real world!” said Kaitlan.

With employment prospects for beauty therapists expected to continue growing strongly to 2016-17, Kaitlan’s decision to study beauty therapy looks set to keep paying returns in the future.

“I’m keen to gain more knowledge in the industry and hopefully have my own business one day,” Kaitlan said.

Full and part-time courses in SIB40110 Certificate IV in Beauty Therapy, SIB30110 Certificate III in Beauty Services and SIB20210 Certificate II in Nail Technology at Central Coast Community College commence in the week beginning Monday 29 April. Enrolments are now open.

The College will host two information sessions for prospective students on Tuesday 9 April 2013 at the College’s Beauty Training Rooms and Salon, 5 Church Street Wyong.

Prospective students can find out more about the qualifications, payment plans and individual study programs available at the College. They can also take a tour of the beauty training facilities and Student Beauty Salon.

Registration for the sessions is essential and can be made by calling 4348 4300 or emailing info@cccc.nsw.edu.au.
