Lovering Volvo of Nashua Sponsoring the Youth Dinner for the Boys and Girls Club

NASHUA, N.H. - March 11, 2013 - PRLog -- Lovering Volvo of Nashua, one of the area's most trusted dealerships (http://www.loveringnashua.com/volvo-dealers-near-nashua.htm), is pleased to be sponsoring the Boys and Girls Club of Greater Nashua's Second Annual Youth Dinner. The dinner will take place on March 27th, with an open invitation to all Club alumni and supporting community members. The dinner will also honor an outstanding Club member as the Youth of the Year. Followed by this honor will be a Hall of Fame Celebration that recognizes the achievements of past members.

Lovering has been supporting the Boys and Girls Club of Greater Nashua (http://www.bgcn.com/) since 1998, and since then has given $175,910. This money goes to help supporting the day-to-day activities of the Club. Many parents rely on the Boys and Girls Club to be a safe place for their children to spend time after school.

Members of the organization can hangout, play sports, swim, or get academic help. Career planning discussions are also an important part of the club's formation for young adults, as well as personal wellness talks about avoiding risky behavior. Overall, the Club educates children about the importance of community and personal responsibility, while still being a strong outlet for recreation and fun.

A large part of the cCub's funds go to transporting children to the facility, transportation to intramural sporting events, and getting them home safely. Without these community supported funds, the Club would not be able to operate.

Last December, Lovering also took part in the “Bids for Kids” auction at the Sky Meadow Country Club, an event organized to support the children. Through generous giving from the community, the event was able to raise $227,000 towards the Club's annual activities.
