Sweet Noise is a showcase spinoff of Soapbox Nation’s flagship event, Soapbox Sessions, a weekly open mic night for musicians, poets, and comedians at the Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf. The open mic has been a staple of the creative community in the San Fernando Valley since 2006 and has seen more than 1000 performers cross it’s humble stage. (http://www.SpreadtheSoap.com)
Sweet Noise will include an open select bar and will feature a live painting collaboration, led by local artists, Yasamin Safarzadeh and Marc Stewart. This will be the largest painting demonstration held at a Sweet Noise event to date, with a 4’ x 6’ canvas being painted by hand-selected artists throughout the entire night, inspired completely by the music and atmosphere.
