Heather said that CareerEncore has “absolutely made her day.” Ken had a more light-hearted take on winning, commenting that he will be “nervously waiting by the mailbox every day" until his iPad mini arrives. Stephanie said that here prize “could not have come at a better time.” Denise was not available to comment.
In total, for this sweepstakes, CareerEncore has awarded over $650 dollars’ worth of prizes, and dedicated hours of one-on-one time towards career consulting and resume critiquing.

Over 10,000 individuals entered the sweepstakes from across the United States, and select additional countries, such as Canada, Mexico, and the United Kingdom. However, international entrants were barred from participating, according to the sweepstake’s official rules, due to complicated international lottery and gaming regulations.
“I would say that it’s very likely we’ll do something like this again next winter,” said Chris Homer, COO at CareerEncore. “Everyone seems to love it; it only makes sense to keep it going.”
In 2012, CareerEncore gave away an iPad 2, career consultation, and a resume critique to celebrate their fifth year of operations. This 5-Year Anniversary Sweepstakes was run much the same as the recently concluded New Year’s Sweepstakes and was met with much of the same excitement.
