The main goal of continuing education is to assure the best possible standards for the occupational therapy profession. All licensees are required to participate in continuing education as a condition of licensure.

Requirements for Continuing Education
Kansas-licensed occupational therapists are required as a condition of license renewal to complete forty (40) hours of continuing education credits every two years with a March 31st deadline, odd years. Of the forty hours, twenty (20) hours are allowed from home study courses.
