Flores is a standout in the graphic arts world and is well known in the skate/bike/snowboard communities. Flores developed his own unmistakable style known as “stained glass” to create his art, which often includes iconic images from Salvador Dali to depictions of Mickey Mouse.
David Flores began his career as an illustrator for skateboard companies and was internationally published by the age of 20. Throughout the 90s he contributed graphic artwork to companies such as Anti Hero, Powell Peralta, Spitfire Wheels, and Lucky Bearing creating art and graphics that are still used today. Flores has collaborated with commercial enterprises such as Disney, Stussey, and Oakley; more recently Flores is working with FLIP skateboards and Akomplice Clothing. His artwork includes toy and clothing design, sculpting, and painting; many of his murals can be found on the streets of Los Angeles.
