BIRMINGHAM, U.K. - March 10, 2013 - PRLog -- New Mobile helper:
* RFID module for MC 95 series
* Charging stations for PB22 and MC95 series
* Flexible carrying system and strap belt

Hamburg/Birmingham 11.03.2013, Hamburg based accessories specialist for AutoID devices Collatz + Trojan presents on time for IMHX 2013 in Birmingham a new, powerful and compact RFID module for widely used barcode scanners MC95 series from Motorola, developed in cooperation with the German BARTEC Corp. Thereby the barcode scanner is expanded quickly and inexpensively to a full RFID-Reader/Writer, which is designed for three different frequency bands (LF, HF or UHF). The increasingly successful RFID transponder labels (tags) can thus be read comfortably and - depending on the tag - even written.

RFID module for MC95 series from Motorola

The same device – but more power
Mobile terminal MC95 is widely used in retail and logistics business. With the new RFID module of Collatz+Trojan, now include reading barcodes and RFID tags. The advantage for the user: Instead of expensive purchasing of a new scanner and costly integrating into the system, the existing device from MC95 Series can still be used. This saves both time and money and offers more flexibility.

Simple and flexible handling
Collatz + Trojan, in collaboration with BARTEC Corp. developed an RFID module that makes a MC95 to a complete RFID device (reader/writer). The module is very easy to attach to the external contacts of the MC95. Thanks to its extremely compact design - Dimensions: 80 x 60 x 30 mm (L x W x H) - complements the RFID module, the MC95 mobile terminals perfectly. The RFID module is offered in three variants (LF, HF and UHF) RFID depending on the desired area of operations. Another remarkable advantage: No additional power supply is needed for the RFID module. The expansion module draws its power from the scanner. A so-called Ex-version of the RFID module for hazardous areas offers BARTEC Corp., the market and technology leader in safety technology. Collatz + Trojan will start delivering RFID modules to customers in April 2013.

Charging station for the PB22 mobile printer

For the PB22 mobile printer Collatz+Trojan has developed a practical and stylish charging station. The PB22 is a mobile thermal transfer printer with built-in battery in a robust case. The battery of the printer can be loaded by default on its power supply. However, the plug of the charger has to be inserted everytime with difficulty into the printer, as the socket covered by a rubber cover and is difficult to access.

The solution of Collatz+Trojan now combines a defined storage space for the printer that will simultaneously charge the battery. The design of the PB22 is adapted very stylish and it is designed so that the printer can be placed only in the one and only correct position - and drops it exactly onto the charging contacts. No additional cable connection is necessary. The power supply of the printer is plugged into the power socket of the charging station. In addition, the charging station is fitted with an LED to indicate the charge status of the printer. The unit is available in the 2nd Quarter of 2013.

Data and Charger for Motorola MC95 series

Another highlight for IMHX is the modular data and charging station for mobile terminals MC95 from Motorola. The high-performance products of  Hamburg based  Collatz+Trojan ensure that the mobile terminals do not run out of power, and thus always a data transmission is possible. The data and charging station is available as a table version and as wall-mounted version. About 30,000 of these stations are, for example in the depots of one of the largest logistics service providers in operation.

Flexible carrying system and strap belt for mobile AutoID devices
In retail increasingly more and more mobile data devices are used, such as for inventory, for the regular update of prices or for checking expiration dates. Therefore it is necessary, scanners or printers and accessories must be carried right to working or exhibition place. To prevent loss or theft, these devices should be all together transportable and can best be carried on the body. Often it's female employees, who perform these tasks – therefore, these systems should also fit into their physical requirements.

The carrying system and strap belt are constructed modular and consist of a basic belt that can be worn around the waist and over the shoulder. Additionally there are individually removable modules, in which the hardware such as scanners, printers and accessories can be accommodated.

Collatz+Trojan offer different systems depending on which mobile terminals and printers are used in business. The portable systems are designed e.g. for clothing retailers and have space for a labelling guns and accessories. Can expand to these modules, e.g. for replacement rolls, label rolls, cell phones or other add-ons. The Hamburg based accessory specialist provides a comprehensive package of flexible technology and customized, ergonomic carrying and strap belt systems.

All products will be shown at IMHX. The specialists of Collatz+Trojan are available for discussions with the press and trade visitors.
