Buzz Builds for Gregory Blair and DEADLY REVISIONS with EOTM Award Nomination

PRLog (Press Release) - Mar. 11, 2013 - LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- Gregory Blair has been nominated for Best Director of an Indie Horror Film for Deadly Revisions in the EOTM Awards.  But this is not the first time the film has gotten notice.  Last year, without even having begun principal photography, Gregory Blair’s feature Deadly Revisions was making waves in the New Media Film Festival.

The New Media Film Festival, is for all kinds of media:  feature films, shorts, web series, documentaries, trailers and “sniplers” which are 30-second snippets of a trailer.  The team at Filmbreak.com had a contest for the best “snipler” and the Deadly Revisions team got to work.  Blair and a skeleton crew had created a teaser trailer to raise interest and funds for the film, so they trimmed the trailer to 30 seconds and sent it to Filmbreak.  The effort paid off: the snipler won the honor of being one of three selected to screen at the festival and Blair and co-producer Roxy Shih took part in a short Q&A session immediately following.

Now, production is over and a new accolade has emerged: this time spotlighting director Gregory Blair. The EOTM Awards are presented by the EOTM Radio & TV Network to celebrate entrepreneurial achievements and performances in business, philanthropy and the arts as well as a special award  to key individuals and organizations that promote human rights and social justice.  Gregory Blair has just been announced as a recipient of a nomination for Best Director of an Indie Horror Film for Deadly Revisions.  

"The nomination came as a complete surprise,” Blair says.  “I had just heard my friend Dawna Lee Heising (who plays a small role in the film) was nominated for Outstanding Entertainment TV Talk Show Host and was so excited for her, because she does great interviews.  Then I saw this tweet congratulating me for my nomination for Best Director of an Indie Horror Film for DEADLY REVISIONS and I was totally taken by surprise and also amused that Twitter and Facebook and the like are now often the way we learn things.  It’s a truly crazy world, but I’m honored and thrilled, regardless.”
