March 11, 2013 – San Diego
Voyagers Toastmasters – one of San Diego’s most dynamic and experienced Toastmaster Cubs, today announced that it has selected two of its members to represent the club at the upcoming District 12 - Toastmaster International Speech Contest to be held Saturday morning, March 23rd.
If you were not at the Voyagers Club on March 7, you missed an exciting meeting. We had our highly competitive International Speech Contest and the Table Topics Contest. After the dust settled, Mark Epstein took home the honors for Best Speech with his touching and poignant speech about his sister and Mark Shapiro captured the Table Topics by talking about being follicle challenged. Mark Imhoff was the runner up for the International Speech contest and Kimberly Lundberg came in second in the Table Topics contest.
All four will be representing the club at the upcoming District 12 contest on March 23. 2013.
