March 10, 2013 - PRLog -- What happened? Our avid readers may remember that the founder of MYGERMANSHEPHERD.ORG (http://mygermanshepherd.org), Tim Carter, recently published a quite revolutionary but concise "Puppy Development Guide". A Puppy 101 for Dog Lovers! Tim's "No Force, No Fear, No Fuss" canine training approach has made many dog owners think. Think about their attitude towards their dog.

And a significant number of dog owners now seem to prefer this totally relaxed and gentle way of dog training over Cesar's way: Tim Carter's Puppy Development Guide has taken over the top spot in Amazon's Kindle and Book categories!

For the immediate avoidance of doubt and confusion: This pack leadership position has probably been achieved only thanks to Amazon's "KDP Select" promotion of Tim's book. It is currently FREE to download: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00BCL2SE2. You do not even need a Kindle device, since Amazon offers FREE Kindle Reading apps on that same page.

After the FREE BOOK PROMOTION - which ends on Wednesday, March 13 around noon - clearly Cesar will regain the top spot - despite his quite hefty book prices. He's the more outgoing and better entertainer. Millions of dog owners simply LOVE Cesar Millan. Maybe not so much as a dog trainer, but as an entertainer. What, you don't? Then watch the video below as proof:

But why does not every dog owner love Cesar Millan as a dog trainer? Firstly, he doesn't even see himself as a dog trainer. Rather as a dog behavior analyst - a point Cesar stresses in almost each of his many books.

And secondly, Cesar's use of force and fear in his training approach has led to a bigger problem for many dog owners than the puppy or dog problems they tried to address in the first place.

For Tim Carter this has always been obvious. As he says: "Puppies and adult dogs alike are forgivable, but they are not forgetful. Already puppies 10 weeks of age have an inbred unlimited desire to PLEASE their owners. But for a dog, and even more so for a young puppy, it is not easy to determine what pleases us." - Mind you, most of the time this is not even easy for our human partner, our wife or husband!

That's why Tim always encourages us to first develop the right mindset before we get a puppy, and before we interact with our puppy - or with our adult dog for that matter. Then, so Tim claims, all we need for our new canine family member is patience and the right training approach. His training approach is truly remarkable:

Unlike how almost all of the famous dog experts in the world try to "obedience train" their dog, Tim's approach has very little, if anything, to do with obedience. In his words: "I wouldn't want an obedient dog - that would make me feel he or she is my slave! No, I want a dog who accepts me as its Pack leader - without any bribe. A genuine loving relationship with our canine best friend, not one that is merely based on providing food and shelter." Indeed, Tim's approach does not require any force, fear, or food treats.

In the Puppy Development Guide, he makes clear that a dog training based on force, fear, or food treats cannot establish the right human-dog relationship, because none of these will promote that our new canine family member accepts us as Pack leader. It is this acceptance as Pack leader that dog owners as well as dog experts typically overlook. Tim argues that this creates a huge conflict for the dog - which then results in all the common dog problems we know of all too well!

More so, Tim reveals in this book what he calls the "Prime Secret" about dogs, and that this conflict mentioned above puts so much stress on a puppy and adult dog that this daily stress results not just in the dog behavior problems, but in many illnesses and premature death too: A dog that feels the need to prove its Pack leadership over us every day, yes every minute, carries around so much stress that it is these dogs that incur high vet costs and die early, he says.

You can actually observe the stress level of your dog: Is your dog or puppy often running around, towards you and away from you, or circling the place where you sit like a maniac? Is it constantly trying to get your attention? Whether through excessive barking or whining, jumping up on you, scratching, or digging? Does your dog or puppy wear its tail high up, above the horizontal? All these are cues and symptoms of your dog's stress level.

But to easily develop your puppy to become the dog you want, while you and your pup stay calm and relaxed, better get Tim's concise Puppy 101 right now, while it's still FREE on Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00BCL2SE2. Get it today.
