Follow on Google News | The Nissan Resonance Concept Impresses at the Geneva Auto ShowThe Resonance crossover indicates the coming direction of Nissan crossovers. The concept model wowed spectators with its engaging exterior, sophisticated interior, and innovative powertrain.
By: Knight Nissan The designers of the Resonance, who are based in San Diego at Nissan Design America, were inspired by technological advancements and futuristic aspirations. The Japanese automaker revealed the concept crossover to hint at the next generation of their Murano line. They hope to promote the era of innovation with their scientifically styled vehicle. The exterior of the Resonance showcases a dynamic fluidity and boldly styled aerodynamic lines. The vehicle is lightweight but also very strong and sturdy. The front shows off the new V-Motion design language, which uses a mixture of new elements and elements used on previous vehicles. V-Motion design emphasizes a thick chrome bar that descends into the bumper from above the headlights. The rest of the front profile lines follow this dipping motion. The roof of the vehicle appears to be floating. This impression is created by the use of thin, steep pillars and a large glass panel. The Flare Orange color increases the energetic look and adds warmth to the appearance. The interior of the concept vehicle is reminiscent of a futuristic high-class lounge. It looks exclusive, premium, and high-tech. The dashboard also has the floating appearance, with graphically layered hologram-like controls and gauges. The seating is constructed of premium leather, and the cabin features a natural wood pattern. The efficient hybrid-electric all-wheel-drive powertrain features Nissan’s two-clutch system and Xtronic Continuously Variable Transmission. These advancements allow drivers to conserve fuel while still enjoying a fun, powerful driving experience.
