March 4, 2013 – Austin, Texas – Get ready for the updated Wild Orchid Salon, with pampering and style abound. The ultimate oasis for your hair, mind and spirit will be unveiled on March 6, 2013 at its 1st Birthday Party and Client Appreciation Event.
After taking over Wild Orchid in the March 2012, the salon was immediately renovated with new reception furniture and comfortable styling chairs. The ambience is modern and clean yet relaxing with soft calming gray on the walls, a crisp white for the trim and doors and accents of orchid purple. The recent renovation completed today completes the owners’ vision with modern gray linen pattern ceramic tile, an updated water closet with new vanity and European vessel sink and custom cabinetry with quartz counters in the color station and shampoo area. On a comfortable day, you will find Wild Orchid's garage door open welcoming clients and allowing them to enjoy a beautiful Austin day overlooking Lady Bird Lake. Keeping true to Austin's love for music, Wild Orchid is outfitted with Bose sound and music from the owners’ favorite playlists providing an ambient and relaxed vibe. Danielle's vision was for her clients to have a fun, relaxing experience walking out the door elated with their hair.

The sleek, modern look of the now 5 chair hair salon provides the perfect setting for the award winning team of Master Stylists and its clientele who frequent the salon for new hues and ‘dos or a quick blow out when their hair just becomes frizzed or unruly. Corrective color, Ombre, Great Lengths or Hot Heads extensions, Balayage and Keratin treatments are specialties. Balayage, an intricate hair color placement technique that is used to enhance the dimension of the color, is gaining popularity in Austin.
If the plan was to build the most client friendly hair salon on the planet, the co-owners of Wild Orchid Salon have certainly succeeded. Wine, beer, chai lattes and snacks are served to clients during their service. “The two of us [co-owners] are very involved. We talked and walked through nearly every detail of the client experience at Wild Orchid, to be positive that it would be what we wanted: relaxing and fun,” says Jared Benson. “The talented team of stylists is incredibly customer service savvy.”
